America the Beautiful by Randy Peyton ~ For more than 200 years, the American flag has been the symbol of our nation’s unity, as well as a source of pride and inspiration for millions of American citizens. Randy Peyton, desiring to help the victims of the New York City disaster of September 11, 2001 has made available his rendition of “America the Beautiful”. Randy completed this painting is September of 2000, one year prior to the disaster. A longtime admirer of the song written by poet Katharine Lee Bates, he felt he had to put the song to canvas.
Proceeds from the sale of the prints will be donated to “The New York Fire Fighters 911 Disaster Relief Fund”.
